WHO Call for Case Studies on Physical Activity Promotion in Socially Disadvantaged Groups

The World Health Organization (co-funded by the European Commission) is undertaking a collection of case studies to enable the most promising practice to be shared with regard to promoting physical activity in socially disadvantaged groups. Socially disadvantage relates to socioeconomic aspects (including income, employment, education and socioeconomic status) as well as to sociocultural aspects (such as gender, ethnicity, religion, culture, migrant status, and social capital), sociogeographic aspects (such as living in a deprived neighbourhood) and age.
