Factsheet that summarises reasons for teenage girls to drop out of sporting activities in the U.K.  Direct quotes from teenage girls are included.  Several key barriers to physical activity participation were identified:  Peer group/societal norms, enjoyment/societal norms and confidence.  Several key groups to be targeted to increase participation were identified these were National Governing Bodies, Clubs and Coaches.
