Promoting physical activity for children and young people

Guidance on the promotion of physical activity for children and young people within a number of settings.

Guidance for physical activity providers, teachers and parents for children and young people throughout the U.K. These guidance notes focus on promoting the benefits of physical activity, promoting participation, planning and development of policy. 

The document also emphasises the importance of consultation with young people and children, training staff and volunteers to work this group and the promotion of active travel.  Schools and colleges, government departments and general service providers will find this document useful.
