Out There and Active Resources

Asthma UK's 'Out There & Active' campaign aims to encourage children with asthma to take part in sports and physical activities by promoting understanding about exercise and asthma.

Over 72,000 children in Scotland have asthma, that’s approximately two in every classroom. For the vast majority being active is beneficial to their asthma and there is no reason why they should not take part in activities providing they use their inhalers appropriately.

Asthma UK provide a range of supportive materials including factfiles, posters and booklets containing guidance and tips on exercising safely with asthma for young people, parents, teachers and sports coaches. Booklets and posters can be ordered free of charge for those working with children with asthma.
