Growing Up with Exercise

Leaflet that summarises the importance for teenage girls to maintain physical activity levels throughout adolescence.

Leaflet developed by Sport Medicine Australia that summarises information on the importance of physical activity for teenage girls. 

The leaflet begins by explaining changes that occur during adolescence (i.e. puberty) and the effects of these changes.  The leaflet also provides tips for teenagers to remain physically active and information on the importance of physical activity for teenage girls (along with recommended guidelines). 

Some information on the impact of intense physical training and poor nutrition on teenage girls is also included.  Finally the leaflet discusses body image and provides tips on maintaining a healthy body image.
