The Association of CHPs was established to:
- provide and promote a national voice and strengthen the influence of CHPs
- assist CHPs in improving the quality and standards of clinical care and management and to support clinical and professional development through communication, education, training, research and audit
- support CHPs in providing an improved focus for the development of integrated and partnership working across health care, social care and voluntary sector
- assist CHPs in addressing health inequalities through the public health approach to health and related topics
Membership is open to all recognised CHPs and those primary care organisations.
