An Investigation into the Physical Activity Content of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Pre Qualification Courses and CPD Programmes.
Commissioned by NHS Health Scotland as part of the Physical Activity Workforce Development Plan 2005-2008 to looked at the physical activity content of undergraduate, postgraduate, pre qualification courses and continual professional development programmes.
This report provides an overview of the physical activity content of existing and planned pre-employment further and higher education courses, as well as any Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities, for:
- Those who have physical activity and health as part of their job, but is not their main focus
- Those who play a supporting role in promoting physical activity.
