Sport and Physical Activity Research is being undertaken

The Robertson Trust, sportscotland, Scottish Government and the Sport for Change Network are doing some research.

They want to find out how sport and physical activity are being used to benefit individuals and communities across Scotland.  The research is being undertaken by Research Scotland.

Part of the research involves inviting relevant organisations to complete an online survey.   The survey is for organisations delivering sport and physical activity in Scotland.

The survey is a very important part of the research, and will feed into important regional and national discussions about:

  • what change sport can bring about for individuals and communities
  • how best it can do this, and
  • what support organisations may need to make this positive difference.

The survey also gives respondents the chance to express an interest in taking part in these discussions.

The deadline to complete the survey is 24 June 2016

Please visit this link to access the survey.

If you have any questions about this research, or distributing the survey, please contact Lyle Christine or Katy MacMillan at Research Scotland on 0141 424 5295 or at lyle.christine@researchscotland.org
