Paths for All Research Group Opportunity

Paths For All are looking for experienced Project Coordinators, Volunteer Walk Leaders and / or walkers to help with a piece of research.

Paths For All are supporting a PhD research project with the Physical Activity for Health Research Centre (PAHRC) at The University of Edinburgh. The research will focus on ‘monitoring and understanding walking behaviour of older adults who walk with Paths for All walking groups’.

As part of the on-going process, a steering group is being created to inform and guide the practical aspects of the research and Paths For All are keen that Walking for Health projects are represented on this steering group.

The first meeting of the steering group will take place at PAHRC, The University of Edinburgh, Moray House campus, on 26 April 2016, 12:30pm – 2pm.

It is anticipated that there will be two steering group meetings per year, although this could vary. Attendance is voluntary although travel expenses will be reimbursed.

If you would like to be involved in this piece of research, please contact Gerry at gerry.kiernan@pathsforall.org.uk or on 01259 222 398.
