The Place Standard Tool, developed by NHS Health Scotland, the Scottish Government and Architecture Design Scotland, has won the Royal Town Planning Institute’s (RTPI) award for excellence in planning for wellbeing.
It is important that the places and spaces in which we live and work are designed to promote good health and reduce health inequalities. It can help structure the necessary conversations between planners and communities.
